This is what you get when you move into the Falls of Wilcrest apartments located in Houston, TX.

First off I was told that I would be getting all new appliances, cabinets, and granite counter tops if I moved in. And because of that the rent is $200 more than what it used to be. I was fine with that because of all the upgrades I was told I was going to get. I was never given a walk thru, I was never shown a layout of the apartment. I was told it was the 2nd from the largest they had. I was told I would be able to move in on 10/02. Showed up on 10/02 to get the keys and sign the lease and they said it would be a few more days before they finished because they said I was getting a remodeled apartment. They said I could come back the next day at 4pm and get my key then. I went back and they told me it still wasn't ready and if I showed up the next day at 10am I would get the keys. So the next day I showed up at 10am, I waited in the leasing office until 2pm with the movers waiting at my old apartment. I had to rush to them which was an hour away and then back before the leasing office closed at 4pm to finally sign the lease and get the key. At this point I still didn't get a walk thru or anything. I was told to sign here, and here, and here is the key. I walk into the apt to find, new floors but everything else was 30 years old. The cabinets are water logged and warped and falling apart, the appliances are so scratched I can't read the temp on the stove. The oven and the fridge were not plugged in. When I opened the fridge a family of roaches ran out. I was told I had to plug the oven and fridge in myself which wasn't easy to do because of how heavy they are. The A/C didn't work and it took them 3 days to come. There were hundreds of little roaches everywhere. The bathtub was not refinished before I moved in. It has no paint on the bottom at all and is pealing everywhere else. I was told they can't refinish it now because I moved in. The area dirt area where my gated patio is has broken glass, broken tiles, trash, and a crack pipe. The light at the front entrance has been removed so there is no light when I leave or come home from work.  If your thinking of moving here, (Think again)
